Black Yoshi glides through the skies with his black Lightning Champ.Mario Kart Arcade GP is an arcade sub-series of Nintendo's Mario Kart series, developed and published by Namco and later Bandai Namco Games under license from Nintendo. The Lightning Champ is characterized by having a sleek, drawn-out body. The front has two horizontal red and white extension with blue panels extending vertically on the end. The frame is colored blue with outlying red and white stripes, much to Mario's liking. The Hamburcar is a kart found in Mario Kart Arcade GP DX. The sides are mainly red with some blue, and two huge black tires with yellow lines going down the treads are connected with sturdy steel pipes. Its name is derived from its appearance as it is shaped and designed after a hamburger, while the wheels are meat patties. Its alternate colors are dark brown and beige. Behind the small windshield and seat are the back tires, overshadowed by a blue aerodynamic fin reading "MARIO KART." A couple red lights, the user's icon, and two exhausts can be seen on the back. Whereas the normal version of the Lightning Champ was primarily blue, the Type S Lightning Champ is primarily red. The third time is a bigger charm and such is the case with Nintendo and Bandai Namco’s Mario Kart Arcade GP DX. Its body seems to be redone in a red paint, and white stripes now accent the top horizontal platform, center of the vehicle, and middle of the back fin. Apart from this different aesthetic look, the Type S is no different then the normal blue, white, and red one. Similar to other Type X variants of other Mario Kart Arcade GP DX vehicles, the Lightning Champ X is much darker than the original. although the shape is retained, the body is now a dull gold color, accented with black and gray markings. The back fin now says "MARIO KART" in black and gold lettering over a white background, which gives this version an excellent finish. While the Lightning Champ might be an upgrade from the Standard Kart (at least in Acceleration), there's better karts to choose from that offer double the stat bonuses than this one has. The newest and original same game play of the iconic racing game machine. Still, for beginners or people looking for a challenge, the Lightning Champ is a great selection.
